Interactive Piano Workshop at Steinway & Sons Xi'an

"Interactive Piano Workshop" is a teaching project I have initiated since 2019. Building on the foundation of traditional lectures, it incorporates more interactive elements to foster an open and inclusive atmosphere, and a sustained sense of participation that invites audience members to join in the discussion of piano learning and practice. Interactive Piano Workshop is highly practical and improvisational, with each session varying depending on how the audience members engage.

This workshop will discuss several common issues that I have identified through my own piano practice and my teaching experiences. The content of the workshop includes:

1. Understanding the essence of "technique"
2. Effective practice for musicality and musical expressiveness
3. How to "read" the score
4. Q&A session
